Dead fido!
Just WHO is the LoseR?

Burp

The esteemed FidoDroppings award went to Bob Kohl for his rude behavior and conduct not suitable for a Regional Coordinator which he has exhibited to all of the Zone. Not only has he demonstrated a clear lack of knowledge of Policy 4.07 but he also has not bothered to educate the rest of us on the Kohlified version which he must be following. Is this Policy 4.07K?

While the Policy Complaint filed against him by Hans Mangold was not upheld by Bob "noted" Satti, the ZC, Satti was certainly NOT pleased with Kohl and had this to say in the ruling:

A partial quote from the "noted" ZC's Ruling:
=====================================

"Bob... I expect more of my RC's. I don't like the way you have dealt with this matter, in public or in private. Your comments were inflammatory and I feel that is behavior unbecoming an RC.
Get a grip, Bob."

-by Bob "noted" Satti, Z1C
======================================

Now the fact that the esteemed R10C/ZEC/WhoKnowsWhatOtherHatsToday was indeed chastised by the Z1C and at the same time, has found himself in the position where the RECC has voted NO confidence, some of Kohl's supporters have come out to defend him. They just don't appear to be winning though!

Doesn't matter. It's still a valid point.

MB> My contention has been that the RECC, when it's convenient, throws

MB> the resignation of the REC10

Easy way to fix that, appoint a REC10, say a few days after the last REC10
decided to quit. Hell, he gave 2 or 3 weeks notice. Why beat around the bush
about it? Unless there's some other hidden agenda we can't possibly know what
it is unless the RC10 let's everyone know.
He's a great non-communicator...

But, better yet, let the NEC's in the region vote for one. Anyone appointed by
our now not so trustworthy RC isn't going to fly very far, as you can see.

MB> and at the same time denies the "acting REC10" and the elected ZEC1

Gee, that's the problem when you wear too many hats, isn't it.

MB> REC echo that has always been used and the only place where the ZEC
MB> has access to any discussions amongst the RECC.

And we all know why that came about. I see no change in the ZEC's attitude to
make the RECC want to do it any different. Hooray for them..

MB> This is the very same RECC that refuses to work with the elected
MB> ZEC based on the fact that he is RC10,

And carries his RC10 attitude with him. It's pretty clear, he can't push his RC
weight around in the REC echo. The same attitude that makes him think he's ZC
material.

MB> something that the majority of the electorate didn't seem to
MB> think was important.

That reminds me, how many times did Zorch vote? Or how many stuffed ballots
were there total?

MB> The whole thing boils down to the RECC

refusing to work with an incoherent, antogonistic, incompetent ZEC.

I know those words go way over his head, so you might want to sit down with him
and hold his hand while you explain what they mean.

While you're at it, have him explain what "obstreperous" means.

But what on earth does obstreperous mean and where did it come from? To date, we have not seen any response from Belcke on this one and since some are curious, we went to the source!

Roy Witt blessed us with the answer:

I get netmail. Perhaps some of you, like John Bodoni, are wondering what the word appearing in the Subj: line and the message posted to Martin Belcke means. Not what the word means literally (well some of you might), but why it was posted at all. What does it have to do with the ongoing discussions here? Not much really, but then, only a few really know why the question, for that matter, why that word would be of any interest to Bob Kohl.

In Bob Satti's denial of Hans Mangold's policy complaint, Bob used the word to
describe the antics of both parties. Only those who have read the denial will
know why that word was used.

OBSTREPEROUS: adjective; (see OB- + STREPRE to make a noise, roar) noisy,
boisterous or unruly, especially in resisting or opposing.

A good choice of words by the ZC. One did the accusing in a boisterous (2nd
meaning; loud and exuberant(exuberant; overflowing in abundance)) manner, while
the accused resisted in noisy, unruly opposition to the charges put forth.

Imagine. One word means all of that. It was probably normal vocabulary for a
savant individual such as Hans. However, I believe the ZC wasted that word on
the ignoble R10C, whose untactful brusquenous if unabated, will be suffering
adversity for some time to come.

==========================================================================

We have to agree with Roy, folks, if Kohl can't even spell strictly (he uses "strickly" all the time), and can hardly compose a simple sentence, we would conclude that four syllable words would be far above his 3rd grade comprehension level.

Reactions to this PC ruling reached us at FidoLose.
Roy Witt had this to say on 19 Jun 98 10:41:22:

"Well, I was right about the PC filed against Bob Kohl being denied. Of course it's release into public view before the close of the election voting deadline is obviously and attempt to ensure the outcome. What perfect timing. If you didn't believe that this election was fixed from the start, this should spell it out for you. ...

How the ZC dealt with Hans is immaterial and the emphasis should be on what the ZC thought of Bob Kohl's behavior. We've all seen it day in and day out, but the zone hasn't been as privey. "

Thanks, Roy! You sure did say it well!
